Tigres UANL made official a series of important changes within its sports structure, after confirming the departure of Gerardo Torrado from the Sports Vice Presidency of the club, a position he held for the last two years. The feline institution thanked Torrado for his professionalism, commitment and dedication during his time as a director, while wishing him success in his future projects. Tigres announced the incorporation of Víctor Manuel Vucetich as the new Sports Vice President, who will also assume the interim technical direction of the first team, giving him a dual function within the institution. With this move, the board seeks to take advantage of Vucetich's experience and leadership to try to give direction to the team, which is going through a complicated start to the tournament and needs to start adding positive results, such as their next match against Atlante FC on August 22. As for the technical staff, Tigres reported that Hernán Elizondo will rejoin the Sub 21 team, while Carlos Turrubiates will continue as assistant technical coach of the first team, after being in charge of the feline team for the last few days.
